Besides the performances and other activities, Erketz also participates
in weddings, dancing and making a reverence to the newlyweds.
It is a tradition that it is becoming more and more popular with
the years. It consists of dancing to the newlyweds the "Agurra"
dance in their honour and afterwards, when the couple comes out
from the church, the dancers place a kind of a bridge with swords
and arcs.
Thus the group receives a quantity of money that it is very helpful
for different activities.
The offers are the following:
12 dancers, 6 boys and 6 girls dressed traditionaly and one musician
called 'Txistulari'. One or two couples dance in the church or outdoors
to the newlyweds and then all together make the bridge through which
the couple will have to leave the church. It costs 300 Euros.
