Presentation

The music section of Erketz is made up of 12 musicians tht form an orchestra from which it's possible to listen to accompaniment instruments such as violin, trumpet accordion or guittar as well as to the traditional and popular instruments from our country, that are the following:

 


Txistu:
Three holes flute accompanied by a percussion called 'Danbolin' which is played by the same musician who takes the name of 'Txistulari'.

Txirula:
Instrument that comes from the same family of the txistu. It´s sound is trebler and it is typically played in the french basque area.

Dultzaina:
Rustic oboe with a pitched volume, accompanied by a vigorous percussion,

Alboka:
It is a wind instrument compounded of a wooden handle, a bell and another issuer which are made of bovine. It is usually accompanied by a tambourine called 'Pandero'.

Trikitixa:
Little diatonic accordion, not a long time ago included in the Basque music, but which is very popular nowadays. It is also played with a tambourine.

Txalaparta:
Percussion compounded of some boards that come from different woods and are played by two musiciens It´s sound is totally improvised.
