In 1990 after seeing that in most of the towns which had children groups they used to organize the child dancer's day, Erketz thougt about the posibility of organizing this kind of party day in Lasarte-Oria as well

Therefore, we kept in touch with some well known groups in order to celebrate this party day in our town.

The child dancer's day is celebrate every year in the second sunday of June, and eight groups from different areas of the Basque Country take part in it.

The programe of the day is the following:
Arrival and welcome to all the groups that take part.
Brunch
Dancers parade trough the neighbourhoods of the town.
Lunch: The representatives of each group eat toghether in a restaurant whereas the dancers are distributed among different families of the town celebrating the event.
Dancers parade in the centre of the town, moreover and to finish with the parade each group makes a ten minutes performance in the main square of the town.
They did farewell to the groups.

We thank the Townhall of Lasarte-Oria for paying the expenses of this event.
