The group besides dancing in the performances which is contracted
for, it also takes part in different activities of the town
during the year such as:

February the 4th: Chorus of
Sta. Agueda. The day before to Sta. Agueda's day, and dressed in
like farmers the group goes to sing the traditional songs of this
day to farms that are in the mountain during the evening.
May th 30th: Sword-Dance of
Corpus Christy day. Solemn dance of swords where they pay tribute
to the Saint Christ at the altar of St Peter's church of Lasarte-Oria.
June the 21st: The official performance of
the year which is danced during the popular celebrations of the
town, St Peter's parties. It last 1:30 hrs aproximately.
June the 23rd: Tug-Dance of St.
Jhon.
June the 29th: Arch and Swords
are placed during the exit from the official mess of the saint of
the town.
July the 26th. Sta. Ana's Day.
At the end of the traditional Sta. Ana's ironic theatre, the popular
witches-Dance of Oria is danced.
December the 24th: Dressed in
like farmers, the group keeps the tradition of singing popular basque
chistmas songs at the farmas that are in the mountains around Lasarte-oria
Besides these activities, Erketz also offers a great deal of basque
dances in the events organized by other cultural and sport associations
of the town such as the following:

In addition to these activities the group organizes leisure outings
such as trips to go skiing, mountain, aquapark… wich keep a
good atmosphere in the group
